September Design of the Month

Untitled design.png

Remember when you were a kid and someone showed you how to do a spirograph drawing - with either a compass and a pen, a drawing pin, pen, and piece of string or (in more modern times) with one of those fancy plastic kits - and the mesmerising circular pattern making would entertain you for hours on end?

Well, I do, and looking at our new diamonds design takes me straight back to my auntie's kitchen table, I'm wearing a scratchy woollen winter uniform and the rain and mud in the garden means I can't play outside until mum picks me up so getting creative with whatever I had in my school bag and pencil case were the next best option.

Snapping back into the present and I can see where this particular design got its name, it may not have clarity and carrots but it certainly has class (is that one of the c's?). If you look at the shapes made by the repeating circular design then Diamonds will inevitably appear.

Where can you see this design being used in your workplace?

New Design of the month

NEW W (7).png

Although our ‘Crash’ design is a great fit as a Privacy Band it is not limited to this application. This design can be printed, cut out, inverted or stenciled from or on any of our print media or rigid substrates.

Lineal designs are timeless and one like this that is decoratively busy yet literally quite simple provides a statement decorative element that doesn’t close the space. Perfect for a small office or petite conference room.

Design Range At Work

NEW W (5).png

At the Housing Trust: Wollongong fitout a design was chosen from the TD Design Range for a decorative privacy band across the board room window.

‘Ascending/Descending’ in white ink allows for the natural light from the external windows in the boardroom to still reach in to the main office while still providing an adequate screen between the main office and boardroom.

While our Ascending/Descending design brings creative flair to this fitout the use of Fade Effex (gradient) was installed to ensure additional privacy for windows facing a public access area.

We have a wide range of designs located on our Pinterest page that will assist you in reaching your fitouts full potential, be sure to check them out!

Design of month

A new addition to our 'Geometric' Design Range ‘Center Quadrant’ works well as a striking feature graphic component within your space but can also tick a few of your privacy requirement boxes as well.

At a large scale and depending on the density of the graphic, this design can act as somewhat of a Privacy screen for a boardroom window but still allows for sections of visibility that, for a small space, doesn't make the room feel closed in, and for a busy office allows your colleagues to see at a glance when the room is occupied.

Melbourne’s first AIS Equinox event for 2019 was anything but a small affair. Not only did exhibitors exceed expectations with their stands and presentations, but the attendee record was amazing!

There was such a buzz in the room all night and it was great to meet so many new people as well as re-connect with many familiar faces.

For those who didn't quite get there on Thursday, not to worry, you'll have a chance to see us again at the Evolution event at the Carlton Exhibition buildings in October and for any Sydney siders make sure you drop in on us at the Sydney Evolution event in September!

As always, if you require any further information on any of our products or services please drop us a line at admin@tintdesign.com.au or book a time that is convenient for you and your team and we'll put together a presentation tailored to your interests.

New design for April

Nature has been an inspiration for design for as long as design has been a concept, and our latest inspiration looks somewhat like a geometric ‘Fern’ that could add a new dimension to your office fit out.

Depending on your space and current furnishings the stark lineal approach to this pattern could offer a really bold contrast while at the same time remain in line with your company style and focus.

Wall to glass graphics

GW_Geometric-01.jpg

To celebrate this months new design release, we thought we would show you an alternative way to create a impressive look within your office.

The “Custom Geometric” design is a combination of striped, solid and transparent shapes that can be manipulated to fit to any space. In this example it seamlessly flows from the wall through to glass and creates an impressive statement. Taking this approach through your fitout can potentially bring a room together and create a space that is visibly pleasing and leaves an impression on both clients and employees. This design is one of many of our designs that can be executed to flow from wall to glass without being too busy.

Geosmog - A TD design at work!

Geosmog-01.jpg

Geosmog is a unique design that can be found among our ever-growing list of geometric patterns within our Tint Design - Design Range Catalogue.

Used in this context, as a Privacy Band throughout a small office space, the alternating opacity within the design allows for privacy without completely blocking the view between spaces. A solid frost band can, in some spaces, close off an area like a solid wall which is great if that’s what you need but can be confining if your office space isn’t very big.
