Office Fitout

Gradient Fade Range

Fade Effex Collection.png

Fade Effex is Tint Design’s range of gradient graphics created in response to a constant demand for this type of effect. It is a popular solution to privacy obstacles in modern workplaces.

Often the way large office spaces are broken down into smaller offices and meeting spaces is with floor-to-ceiling glass divider walls - great for light and the illusion of open-plan, but terrible for privacy. Another reason for using floor to ceiling glass from a design point of view is that often when you break down a space into smaller rooms you will inevitably close off some of those spaces from the natural light source of any external facing windows - making the walls out of glass however will still allow that light to flow seemingly uninterrupted throughout the space.

So when the need for privacy but the desire for light is your problem then it’s likely that one of our Fade Effex graphics is the solution. Fades are a completely flexible design option that can combat sight-line issues without completely closing off a space. Depending on your needs, the level of opacity can be altered at any height and in any direction. The options available in our Design Range are representations of what is possible however all Fade Effex artwork is customised to your specific needs.

An electric event!

Photo Collage Template - Blog-01.jpg

Melbourne’s first AIS Equinox event for 2019 was anything but a small affair. Not only did exhibitors exceed expectations with their stands and presentations, but the attendee record was amazing!

There was such a buzz in the room all night and it was great to meet so many new people as well as re-connect with many familiar faces.

For those who didn't quite get there on Thursday, not to worry, you'll have a chance to see us again at the Evolution event at the Carlton Exhibition buildings in October and for any Sydney siders make sure you drop in on us at the Sydney Evolution event in September!

As always, if you require any further information on any of our products or services please drop us a line at admin@tintdesign.com.au or book a time that is convenient for you and your team and we'll put together a presentation tailored to your interests.

Geosmog - A TD design at work!

Geosmog-01.jpg

Geosmog is a unique design that can be found among our ever-growing list of geometric patterns within our Tint Design - Design Range Catalogue.

Used in this context, as a Privacy Band throughout a small office space, the alternating opacity within the design allows for privacy without completely blocking the view between spaces. A solid frost band can, in some spaces, close off an area like a solid wall which is great if that’s what you need but can be confining if your office space isn’t very big.

Getting creative with acoustic panels

More fun in the office!

As you can see above, acoustic paneling has endless possibilities. You can combine the product’s range of colours and thickness, and custom cut them to any shape desired. We wanted to have some fun and experiment in this space which has been a major success!

Acoustic panels are an extremely popular wall finishing solution and a vital part of many fitouts. At Tint Design we can turn a dull room into a statement one, by using our vision effex and precision cutting services. The design possibilities are limitless for creating stand out features from a practical substrate.

We love how this office turned out and we hope we have inspired you to bring out your creative side

More fun in the office

Tylers Office-01.jpg

Custom printed wallpaper or vinyl can immediately transform a space from drab to dramatic!

As you can see above we had a bit of fun dressing up the dull corner that is occupied by our head of production and as this is such a prominent space we wanted something fun but had to think carefully about our colour selection - here's why.

As well as brightening up an office space a thoughtful colour selection can have a lasting positive effect on staff productivity. Although each colour has a separate appeal we thought we would look into the psychology of colours in a workplace and how they can benefit our production team in the long term.

The colour red, can encourage feelings of excitement that increases brain activity which is great, however when choosing this colour it should be used as an accent and not a feature as an over saturation of this shade is known to have the adverse effect.

Orange and yellow are seen as happy colours and can energise employees which influences productivity. Yellow invokes a welcoming atmosphere and encourages us to tap into our creative sides while orange breeds enthusiasm. Again however when using these colours they too have a more positive effect when used in moderation.

While using blue and green help you feel calm and relaxed they can also create the feeling of sadness when using darker hues so it is highly recommended to steer away from including large areas of deep, dark, cool tones.

Finally, purple is a colour that creates a great impression when entering a room and is also known for encouraging imagination - a colour that we definitely wanted to incorporate in this design.

We love how this graphic turned out and hope that it inspires some of you to take a look at your own work space and see how adding a splash of colour within your line of sight might change your level of focus throughout the day!
