New Design for April by Cassie Blomquist

Fern_Design-01.jpg

Nature has been an inspiration for design for as long as Design has been a concept, and our latest inspiration looks somewhat like a geometric ‘Fern’ that could add a new dimension to your office fit out.

Depending on your space and current furnishings the stark lineal approach to this pattern could offer a really bold contrast while at the same time remain in line with your company style and focus.

Wall to Glass Graphics by Cassie Blomquist

To celebrate this months new design release, we thought we would show you an alternative way to create a impressive look within your office.

The “Custom Geometric” design is a combination of striped, solid and transparent shapes that can be manipulated to fit to any space. In this example it seamlessly flows from the wall through to glass and creates an impressive statement. Taking this approach through your fitout can potentially bring a room together and create a space that is visibly pleasing and leaves an impression on both clients and employees. This design is one of many of our designs that can be executed to flow from wall to glass without being too busy.

Gliding through Summer! by Cassie Blomquist

Gliding-01.jpg

With Summer coming to a end and Autumn around the corner, we thought we would celebrate the end of season with a new design.

We’ve been noticing natural and light graphics are a growing trend for interior fitouts, with the inspiration of the outdoors coming into working environments to encourage productivity and employee satisfaction. This was the inspiration behind our new addition to the design range called ‘Glide’. Digitally Printing white onto Frost brings out the tiny details that make this design so unique and lifelike.

Be sure to check out our Pinterest page, we are constantly uploading new designs on there every month with the hope it gives you some inspiration for your next project!

One of our latest designs was a statement feature at this months Equinox exhibitions in both Sydney and Melbourne. Not only did we heavily feature this design on our stand, we also had it printed on our complimentary calico show bags which were hugely popular and a great hit!

The Trihelix design was featured as a way of soft launching Tint Design’s first official range of decorative Braille signs. This design is the first of our Braille Sign Range and we are looking forward to the official release very soon.

Our Design Team are enjoying coming up with new designs for your use. Please feel free to check out our Design Range or even more designs on our Pinterest page and let us know what you think!

Huge Success at Equinox 2018! by Cassie Blomquist

What a show! It’s the first time Tint Design have had a stand at the Equinox Exhibition and we couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out. We were present at both the Sydney and Melbourne shows and it appears we had a impact at both which is so exciting!

With Tint Design now providing a number of products and services we were determined to present as much as we could on our stand and in the end were were able to showcase printed and cut Acoustic Panels, printed Frost and clear films, Precision Cut graphics and some acrylic laser cut lettering.

In addition to this however, we also showcased some new products that have only recently been added to the Tint Design collection;

  1. Squid - it’s a fabric that can be applied to glass and it’s amazing!

  2. Five Layer Printing - our newly purchased printers are able to produce five layer prints. This means that a graphic can have a front and back allowing an image to be viewed on both sides of the film. But more about this later…

  3. Our FIRST range of Tactile Signage - while at this stage, we have only released the concept, the final product will be available very soon and we are SO exited about it!

It appeared that many of you were both interested in, and excited about our new products and while Equinox was just the introduction and an attempt to wet your appetite, you can expect to hear a lot more about these products very soon.

While our current range of printer are still going strong, we are aware that to stay ahead we need to keep not only improving the quality of our products, but also stay up to date with new technology to increase our printing capabilities and product range.

Over the years we have brought you white printing, fade effects, printing onto a wide range of substrates such as acoustic board, composite panel and wood, printing and cut out designs and lately, tactile designs and Signage.

With our new printers, we are able to deliver greater speed and quality, but in addition to this, we are now offering, 5 layer printing!! Don’t know much about this? Stay tuned…

Exciting work at the Royal Australian Navy Base by Cassie Blomquist

Last month Tint Design packed up two of their installers and sent them on a bit of a road trip to Nowra NSW to complete a wall graphics and 3D Signage install at the Royal Australian Navy base.

From directional signage throughout the base to the impressive photo wall and squadron shield in the entrance foyer, this job comprised of a number of elements - many of which could only come together at the final installation stage. While that is a common occurrence with graphics and signage installs, it was the fact that the installation location was more than 800km from our factory in Melbourne and at least a two hour drive from the closest domestic airport that meant the logistics of this project were more challenging than most. Every element of this installation was meticulously planned out and executed and we couldn’t be happier with the final result.

Following an extensive brief from 723 Squadron Commander Bruce Willington, Simon O’Halloran Design prepared design concepts and production artwork to meet the key objectives of the project.

In order to deliver the high standard of finish required by both parties, and to deal with the logistics of an interstate installation, Simon engaged Tint Design to handle the production and installation. Tint Design produced a series of physical samples that allowed the client, designer and the Tint Design production team to know exactly what was required to achieve the final outcome.

“From my initial meeting with Tyler at Tint Design, I was impressed with their enthusiasm for the project, and the production ideas he brought to the discussions. Having a team like Tint Design involved every aspect of the project made a complex situation very easy, and guaranteed the best possible result for my client.” Simon O’Halloran.

To create the 3D signage there was a three part layering technique used that combined both laser-cut acrylic and Digital Print graphics mounted to router cut digitally printed brushed aluminium ACM panel. The combination of materials and printing techniques are a stand-out feature of this design.

Another Sydney success! by Cassie Blomquist

Once again we have moved out of Melbourne, this time installing our work in Sydney!

Teaming up with Contour Interiors, we achieved this highly motivating and stylish design for Care Super in Sydney.

An open office space is an on-going trend which highly influences employee productivity and employee engagement, with that being said eliminating privacy doesn't have to be the only option.

Care Super's office fit-out is a great example of an open office space that still has a privacy aspect to it. Contour Interiors left it to our design team to create the final design which was carried throughout the fit-out on both clear and frost film. Both create the illusion of privacy, however still function as a open office space.

Tint Design are forever exceeding our clients expectations and we are excited for what future projects may have in store!

creative design that inspires to learn by Liana Slussareff

The intended influence of design within Education spaces is that you are both inspired and excited to learn. We feel that our recent project at Richmond High School does just that even from the moment you approach the building.

Full cover Vision Effex digitally printed film with bright, bold graphics have been installed to the windows on the Façade of the building making a striking entrance to the School. McCorkell Construction have maintained their incredible quality of design and construction for this project for The Victorian Govt - Department of Education and Training and it never ceases to amaze us just how much of an impact Digital Prints can make to a fit-out which leaves such a lasting impression.

We are sure that the current and future students of Richmond High School will draw inspiration from their new and exciting surrounds.
