A bold facade in the heart of Shepparton by Cassie Blomquist

It is with great pride that we can finally share with you one of our larger projects of 2017 - the striking south facade of the brand new Shepparton Law Courts that were officially opened on Friday March 23, 2018 by The Honourable Martin Pakula MP, Attorney-General, in the presence of the Chief Magistrate, His Honour Judge Peter Lauritsen.
It was with great pleasure that Tint Design worked along side ADCO Constructions to realise the extraordinary vision of the south facade that was cleverly designed by the team at Architectus. Of the $73 million dollar project this incredibly detailed facade is the result of many hours of cutting, weeding, application and installation of hundreds of lineal meters of precision cut film to hundreds of square meters of glass.
After an extensive review of the building timeline and access restrictions it was decided that the entirety of this install would take place prior to the glass being installed to the building. The seemingly random placing of the seven different frit-pattern designs had to match their corresponding glass unit but were installed out of order depending on when the units arrived to the warehouse. This installation puzzle was just one element of the many challenges of taking on a project of this size however our production team worked seamlessly and around the clock to bring this one element of this exceptional design to life.

creative design that inspires to learn by Liana Slussareff

The intended influence of design within Education spaces is that you are both inspired and excited to learn. We feel that our recent project at Richmond High School does just that even from the moment you approach the building.

Full cover Vision Effex digitally printed film with bright, bold graphics have been installed to the windows on the Façade of the building making a striking entrance to the School. McCorkell Construction have maintained their incredible quality of design and construction for this project for The Victorian Govt - Department of Education and Training and it never ceases to amaze us just how much of an impact Digital Prints can make to a fit-out which leaves such a lasting impression.

We are sure that the current and future students of Richmond High School will draw inspiration from their new and exciting surrounds.

Digital Graphics enhance new Indigenous Garden at RMIT by Liana Slussareff

Tint Design were invited to work on a special project for RMIT to commemorate Reconciliation Week at their city campus where digital graphics is a featured element of the overall design.

The scope of the project included installing a full cover one-way vision graphic designed by Aboriginal digital artist Aroha Groves, to the external glass façade of Building 15. This prominent feature is an impressive element of the new Indigenous Garden, Ngarara Place, designed by Greenaway Architects

In addition to this, a temporary floor graphic was installed to the steps of adjacent to the garden to create a decorative and symbolic backdrop for the formal events taking place during Reconciliation Week. The artwork was digitally printed on temporary floor vinyl and installed skilfully to the front face of the steps. Although the installation was a challenge, the optically striking effect at its completion was well worth it.

Once again Tint Design pushed its boundaries as to what our products and services are capable of achieving, proving once again that creatively, the options are endless.
