Wall Graphics

Wall to Glass Graphics by Cassie Blomquist

To celebrate this months new design release, we thought we would show you an alternative way to create a impressive look within your office.

The “Custom Geometric” design is a combination of striped, solid and transparent shapes that can be manipulated to fit to any space. In this example it seamlessly flows from the wall through to glass and creates an impressive statement. Taking this approach through your fitout can potentially bring a room together and create a space that is visibly pleasing and leaves an impression on both clients and employees. This design is one of many of our designs that can be executed to flow from wall to glass without being too busy.

Moomba Festival Spirit! by Cassie Blomquist

B_Moomba-01.jpg

While Melbourne is Moomba mad we thought we’d revisit one of our favorite graphics and precision cut projects from last year - Open Universities Australia.

The quirky interior design of this fitout saw every communal work space decorated with its own unique and striking Digitally Printed Wall Graphic or Precision Cut quote and stenciled graphic. Like the Moomba Festival, this fitout inspires creativity and champions those who shape our artistic and cultural landscape - it is through those who inspire that a new generation of leaders and entrepreneurs are born - and we love how bright, colourful and inspiring this project turned out.

Gliding through Summer! by Cassie Blomquist

Gliding-01.jpg

With Summer coming to a end and Autumn around the corner, we thought we would celebrate the end of season with a new design.

We’ve been noticing natural and light graphics are a growing trend for interior fitouts, with the inspiration of the outdoors coming into working environments to encourage productivity and employee satisfaction. This was the inspiration behind our new addition to the design range called ‘Glide’. Digitally Printing white onto Frost brings out the tiny details that make this design so unique and lifelike.

Be sure to check out our Pinterest page, we are constantly uploading new designs on there every month with the hope it gives you some inspiration for your next project!

Our Trihelix Design steals the show! by Cassie Blomquist

Trihelix-01.jpg

One of our latest designs was a statement feature at this months Equinox exhibitions in both Sydney and Melbourne. Not only did we heavily feature this design on our stand, we also had it printed on our complimentary calico show bags which were hugely popular and a great hit!

The Trihelix design was featured as a way of soft launching Tint Design’s first official range of decorative Braille signs. This design is the first of our Braille Sign Range and we are looking forward to the official release very soon.

Our Design Team are enjoying coming up with new designs for your use. Please feel free to check out our Design Range or even more designs on our Pinterest page and let us know what you think!

new addition to our design range by Cassie Blomquist

New Design-03.jpg

As you may be aware, Tint Design have been testing new designs on our Pinterest page and we are already getting terrific reactions to them.

One of our latest designs is our 'HexPath' design which features above. In this graphic we have presented it as a dark wall paper design which creates a dramatic effect. Of course this design can be used in a variety of ways by changing the colour or scale but also, as it is a vector design, it can also be utilised with our Precision Cut service opening the possibilities up to a variety of films and applications.

We are only at the beginning of expanding our Design Range, so please follow us on Pinterest to keep up to date with our latest design releases and we'll work hard to provide your with an extensive variety.

More Fun In The Office by Cassie Blomquist

Tylers Office-02.jpg

Custom printed wallpaper or vinyl can immediately transform a space from drab to dramatic!

As you can see above we had a bit of fun dressing up the dull corner that is occupied by our head of production and as this is such a prominent space we wanted something fun but had to think carefully about our colour selection - here's why.

As well as brightening up an office space a thoughtful colour selection can have a lasting positive effect on staff productivity. Although each colour has a separate appeal we thought we would look into the psychology of colours in a workplace and how they can benefit our production team in the long term.

The colour red, can encourage feelings of excitement that increases brain activity which is great, however when choosing this colour it should be used as an accent and not a feature as an over saturation of this shade is known to have the adverse effect.

Orange and yellow are seen as happy colours and can energise employees which influences productivity. Yellow invokes a welcoming atmosphere and encourages us to tap into our creative sides while orange breeds enthusiasm. Again however when using these colours they too have a more positive effect when used in moderation.

While using blue and green help you feel calm and relaxed they can also create the feeling of sadness when using darker hues so it is highly recommended to steer away from including large areas of deep, dark, cool tones.

Finally, purple is a colour that creates a great impression when entering a room and is also known for encouraging imagination - a colour that we definitely wanted to incorporate in this design.

We love how this graphic turned out and hope that it inspires some of you to take a look at your own work space and see how adding a splash of colour within your line of sight might change your level of focus throughout the day!

Royal Wedding by Cassie Blomquist

Ornate_Royal-01.jpg

May has been a very busy month for us, but not as busy as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

The Royal Wedding created a global buzz and in the spirit of all things regal we decided to dust off one of our original designs 'Ornate' and put it too under the spotlight.
Above is an example of how the design can be applied to both traditional wallpaper and Glass Panels.

Our design team are constantly coming up with new designs, we are now trailling these designs on Pinterest to see how our audience reacts to them.

Pastel colours printed to white acoustic panels and matched to the Perspex® Pastels range!

Pastel colours printed to white acoustic panels and matched to the Perspex® Pastels range!

Painting in pastels is one thing, but what if you want the wall finish to be as delicate as the colours you’ve chosen?

Well, we have a solution for you - Print your pastels onto white acoustic panels

Our R&D department have been busy at it again, only this time it was to see what kind of result we would get from printing solid slabs of colour onto sheets of white acoustics, and the results were even better than we hoped.

Pastels are in, and many suppliers have jumped on board (where they can) to provide a variety of on-trend finishing options, we particularly like how well the new Perspex® pastels range colour matches to our acoustic samples, they’re so pretty!

A Wall Wrap for First Wrap by Liana Slussareff

Refurbished Hawthorn offices for Colonial First State First Wrap are coming along beautifully with the first of three floors completed and in working order.

The vibrant and uplifting wallpaper graphic that we recently installed has really tied together all the elements of the relaxed but productivity focused layout. We love how the designer has incorporated such a bold wall design with the use of natural wood tones in the furniture and tied some of the many colours from the graphic into the soft furnishings throughout the office as well.

In this instance, traditional wallpaper has been used as the base product to which we printed this gorgeous design in panels. Out skilled installers then installed the product using a water based wallpaper adhesive that results in a really smooth and near seamless finish (without the usual overlapped joins).

This wall is a great example of how to champion a feature wall within a work-space without overwhelming the design or understating the rest of the fit out. The team at FDC Construction and Fitout have done an extraordinary job with this project and we at Tint Design are so excited to have been a part of bringing it all to life.
