Window Graphics

Gliding through Summer! by Cassie Blomquist

Gliding-01.jpg

With Summer coming to a end and Autumn around the corner, we thought we would celebrate the end of season with a new design.

We’ve been noticing natural and light graphics are a growing trend for interior fitouts, with the inspiration of the outdoors coming into working environments to encourage productivity and employee satisfaction. This was the inspiration behind our new addition to the design range called ‘Glide’. Digitally Printing white onto Frost brings out the tiny details that make this design so unique and lifelike.

Be sure to check out our Pinterest page, we are constantly uploading new designs on there every month with the hope it gives you some inspiration for your next project!

Another Sydney success! by Cassie Blomquist

Once again we have moved out of Melbourne, this time installing our work in Sydney!

Teaming up with Contour Interiors, we achieved this highly motivating and stylish design for Care Super in Sydney.

An open office space is an on-going trend which highly influences employee productivity and employee engagement, with that being said eliminating privacy doesn't have to be the only option.

Care Super's office fit-out is a great example of an open office space that still has a privacy aspect to it. Contour Interiors left it to our design team to create the final design which was carried throughout the fit-out on both clear and frost film. Both create the illusion of privacy, however still function as a open office space.

Tint Design are forever exceeding our clients expectations and we are excited for what future projects may have in store!

The seasons are changing and soon our sunny days will be replaced with cold wintry ones. Suddenly the solar film you were so desperate for doesn't seem as important... until next summer!

With an increasing demand for multi-purposeful products, Tint Design has been hard at work in their R&D department to not only broaden our range of products and services available, but to also be able to offer the largest variety of finishing solutions to each of them.
As such, we have discovered that not only is solar film able to reduce heat, glare and UV within your fit-out, now there is the option to include printed solar film to your decorative interior design scope!

The unique effect of digitally printing onto solar film maximizes the "designable area" within your space to include the full area of flat glass in your windows.  This could mean a full cover design to mask an undesirable view, or a simple cut-away that carries a pattern or design concept through your fit-out with uninterrupted continuity.

We've got some samples ready to go but would be happy to provide a custom design sample of your choosing – when required solar film is a necessity but now you have to option to also make it a feature!

Thankfully for us we completed works on this new Co-Health site in Footscray, for Contract Control Services, just days before the result of the 2016 AFL Grand Final that showcased a spectacular win by the Western Bulldogs - We can’t imagine it would have been a speedy travel to site the following week. Go Doggies!

Co-Health Footscray was a challenging design project for the architect Clarke Hopkins Clarke who explained the process on their website;
“Through collaborations with a local artist, an indigenous style artwork which captures the multiculturalism of the Footscray community has been incorporated into the façade design, shaping an active and vibrant street presence for the centre and providing a revitalised new identity for Cohealth within the community".

As all of the consultation rooms are to be used by various medical practitioners and all overlook three sides of a central courtyard, the privacy requirements meant treating the windows with some kind of frosting to allow light in while diffusing the optical clarity. The chosen solution to this was to use our Vision Effex service and digitally print a gradient fade effect onto optically clear film that was then applied to the inside of the glass. This meant that the graphic could fade to clear at the top of the window to allow for the required amount of privacy while leaving a subtle gap of optically clear at the top. Elsewhere on each level we treated the windows of some of the internal offices with a similar digital print using white ink.
