Pretty as a Picture Book!

Wesley College in Elsternwick recently asked Tint Design to print and install a new look for their library.

The design is a fun and bright pattern, created by Alicia Braumberger Illustration and Design, which incorporates quotes to inspire students about reading, learning and achieving.Tint Design printed the artwork onto film using our Vision Effex service, and installed it to cover the full height of the library walls, and across a door.An additional piece was digitally printed onto optically clear film and installed onto a window, adding another layer to the cute fitout. More images of this fitout can be seen on the Tint Design website under the Wesley College Project.

The Science of Wallpaper

The final installment in Tint Design's series of Vision Effex ceiling graphics at Presbyterian Ladies College here, and it looks incredible!

This time the graphics, once again designed by Cox Architecture, are all about science, a fitting theme for their location in the science labs. The lucky students have a lot to look up to, with a number of designs dominating the space above their heads, a particular favorite being the awe-inspiring view of the universe!

The size of these graphics was immense, the universe image alone covers a 50 square meter ceiling! This of course meant that the images had to be printed on smaller panels and installed side by side. Thanks to Tint Design's use of traditional wallpaper, (and our talented installers!) the joins between the panels are almost invisible!

You can see more of this project on our website under the PLC Science Project, and the original two PLC ceiling graphic projects under the PLC Project and the PLC Lunch Room Project.

Decorating with Precision!

Tint Design recently installed a series of Precision Cut graphics at the Sistema Plastics Dandenong offices, adding yet another impressive project to ourPortfolio.

The design concept of this project celebrated Sistema's origins in New Zealand, as well as how far they have come, now exporting to 82 countries around the world.

Tint Design used their Precision Cut service by cutting out a list of countries in coloured vinyl film which were then installed on the wall of the office stairwell. Additionally, a map of the world was Precision Cut out of blue vinyl film and red vinyl locator dots were then cut and overlaid onto the graphic.

There are a large range of films available for use in a Precision Cut project, not only in different colours but also varied transparencies. Precision Cut designs can be installed onto plaster walls or glass and can be combined with our Vision Effex digital print service for an even broader scope of decorative options.

More photos of this project can be seen under the Sistema Plastics Project along with other projects which showcase the range of possibilities for Precision Cut graphics!

Your Design Solution is Clear!

Tint Design were recently requested by Neo Construct to print and install film and signage at Monash University's Caulfield Campus. The completed works added both a practical and decorative impact to the University's rooms and corridors.

A number of Tint Design's services were used to complete the project including the installation of solid vinyl film, precision cut lettering on aluminium panels and striped designs printed onto optically clear film.

The striped designs, shown in the photos above, have created a fantastic decorative visual to the rooms of the fitout, while retaining maximum visibility.

By using the Vision Effex service to print onto optically clear film in full length panels, the graphic effect is possible without having an edge or border around the image. This eliminates the risk of the film peeling back or being tampered with at the edges. Also, by printing onto the Vision Effex optically clear film, where there is the absence of a graphic, no one will be the wiser that there is film on the glass.

More photos of the work completed at this fitout can be seen under the Monash Caulfield Project on our website, where you can also see many more examples of previous Vision Effex Digital Print,Precision Cut Film and Signage projects.

Acoustic Design

Acoustic panelling has become an essential part of many fitouts and the recent project, displayed above, designed by Kinart and installed at St Kevin's College, shows just a taste of the creative options that Tint Design can provide.

Tint Design brings the 'wow' factor to a necessary and otherwise unappealing element. Acoustic panels are commonly used in schools and universities to control noise in busy classrooms. They are also considered perfect to cover walls as they can additionally be used as pin boards. Their versatility makes them ideal for any professional fitout.

Tint Design can supply acoustic panels in a number of colours and thicknesses, which we can then print with any design, or precision cut to any shape or size before we install them. Using our Vision Effex service, the options are limitless for creating design features out of a practical substrate.

There are more photos from this project under the St Kevin's Acoustic project on our website and while you're having a look, why not consider Tint Design to turn your next project into something exceptional?

Delivering the Whole Package

Tint Design are continually working on expanding their business, and recent years have seen an increase in the addition of signage to office fitout packages.

The recent project completed at Meltwater on Collins Street is a terrific example of this, which saw the builder, McCormack Property Services utilising Tint Design for a range of services, including frosted film for meeting room privacy, precision cut film and entry area signage. This allows for consistency throughout the fitout, and the ease of organising these elements through only one company makes the process so much more efficient.

This particular signage design was a fantastic project to complete because it creates such a dynamic effect in the entry area. The look was achieved with 10mm white acrylic cut to shape with grey vinyl applied to the front. Being able to see the white edges of the acrylic gives the sign a subtle brightness and helps the company name and logo to stand out from the background.

You can see more photos of this fitout under the Meltwater News project on our website, and while you're there why not take a look at some of the other signage we have produced. For your next office fitout project please consider Tint Design to supply and install your film and signage.
