Design of the month

A new addition to our 'Geometric' Design Range ‘Center Quadrant’ works well as a striking feature graphic component within your space but can also tick a few of your privacy requirement boxes as well.

At a large scale and depending on the density of the graphic, this design can act as somewhat of a Privacy screen for a boardroom window but still allows for sections of visibility that, for a small space, doesn't make the room feel closed in, and for a busy office allows your colleagues to see at a glance when the room is occupied.

Project Feature: College of Law

COL_Blog-01.jpg

This recently completed fitout by Spectrum for The College of Law included some very creative placements of wall graphics on the pillars throughout the building.

As a provider of practical legal education for it's members since 1974, The College of Law is an invaluable place of learning for many of Australasia's future legal minds. Therefore it is only fitting that the space in which they work and learn is as fresh and slick as the workplaces they are likely to join post graduation.
Using a custom photograph of the Supreme Court of Victoria building, sections of the historic facade provide a stark yet sophisticated contrast to to the modern layout.

We love the finished product and how our reception Signage is so prominent for visitors.

Melbourne’s first AIS Equinox event for 2019 was anything but a small affair. Not only did exhibitors exceed expectations with their stands and presentations, but the attendee record was amazing!

There was such a buzz in the room all night and it was great to meet so many new people as well as re-connect with many familiar faces.

For those who didn't quite get there on Thursday, not to worry, you'll have a chance to see us again at the Evolution event at the Carlton Exhibition buildings in October and for any Sydney siders make sure you drop in on us at the Sydney Evolution event in September!

As always, if you require any further information on any of our products or services please drop us a line at admin@tintdesign.com.au or book a time that is convenient for you and your team and we'll put together a presentation tailored to your interests.

Re-vamp for the roo’s

Blog-01.jpg

Footy fever has well and truly taken hold in Melbourne and what better way to ignite some team spirit than by doing a locker room and club room re-vamp!

North Melbourne Football Club have been hard at work refurbishing their players locker rooms as well as the graphics on the external windows of their club rooms and the results are definitely full of team spirit.

While our staff may be divided on who they follow in the AFL ranks we can all at least agree that the end result of this project is definitely top of the ladder!

We're Attending Equinox 2019

Equinox3.jpg

Architectural Information Services (AIS) run a series of evening boutique exhibitions across Australia and New Zealand called Equinox that are designed to connect architects, interior designers, and design specifiers with product suppliers.

The short and sweet evening events showcase products in a more focused environment and provide a relaxed platform for meaningful networking to take place.

Tint Design has sponsored this series of events for a number of years and exhibited for the first time at one of each of the Melbourne and Sydney events last year. As such a good time was had at both exhibitions we have extended our commitment in 2019 to both of the Melbourne events as well as the, much anticipated, Sydney Evolution exhibition later in the year.

Come and say hi next Thursday at the MCEC Sovereign Room from 6pm, have a drink with us, and see what new and exciting products and services Tint Design has to offer in 2019!

A Classic Mother's Day!

Blog_Image-01.jpg

A couple of weeks ago you may have seen a video of the above signs being printed and here they are in action!

The Mothers Day Classic for Toongabbie and Traralgon went off without a hitch on Sunday and we would like to congratulate all the participants who took part as well as the organisers for their stellar efforts in putting it all together.

This annual event commences with simultaneous start lines approximately 15km apart, one in Toongabbie and the other in Traralgon. Participants then walk either 6km or 9km towards each other to meet up at the finish line in Glengarry where there is live entertainment, as well as food stalls, and prize draws.

We hope that the colourful and inspirational Signs we supplied helped to motivate people as they past one every few kilometers on their walk or run.

A cool design as winter approaches

The ‘Directions’ design is the perfect fit for a Privacy Band, however, it is not just limited to this application. This design can bring out the most of your fit-out by using different colourways or printed onto one of our many Applications such as acoustic panels or wall graphics to bring a visually appealing effect to your workplace.

A point in the right direction

We at Tint Design are well-known for our innovation towards exploring and discovering new media and ways to print and apply media to wall and glass. However, we now also provide a greater scope for artistic and creative applications for your workplace using design and additional products.

Wayfinding signage is the perfect solution to guide those who are unfamiliar with your workplace. While it provides functional, safety and privacy solutions, Wayfinding signage doesn’t have to be a standard and generic sign. At Tint Design we believe that while the signage should stand out, it should also work with your environment and compliment it, not clash with it. You want your signage to stand out, but not for the wrong reasons. Tint Design allows for all possibilities to get creative with this type of signage such as using different fonts, icons, colours, or graphics, to create a visually appealing effect within the workplace while also ensuring that the Signage is clear and easy to navigate, reducing confusion for those who are visiting.

Mothers Day Classic

The Mothers Day Classic is held to honor, remember, and celebrate those whose lives have been affected by breast cancer. These events bring communities together to raise funds for Women’s and Men’s breast cancer research.
Tint Design have decided to change it up a little with our donation for the month of May and used our designing and printing skills to donate inspirational Signage to the Toongabbie/Traralgon Mothers Day Classic event that is set to be held on Mother’s Day for its sixth consecutive year.
The signs were designed by our talented in-house team and are sure to motivate those who are participating in the 6km and 9km walk or run.

The Mothers Day Classic runs multiple events around Australia on Mothers Day, be sure to check out their website here for events near you or if you cannot make it on the day you can always make a donation towards breast cancer research here
