Environmental Policy 2023

Net Zero by 2030

Tint Design is committed to achieving NET Zero by January 1st, 2030, by undertaking the following initiatives:

Climate:

Tint Design is committed to reducing its impact on climate change by continually evaluating ways it can reduce its impact on the environment in specific areas such as:

  • Investing in solar panels to reduce electricity usage.

  • By investing in a fully electric company fleet renewal program, completed by June 30, 2025.

  • Annually maintaining all cooling systems for optimal performance.

  • The implementation of a broader range of waste recycling options for cardboard, waste, and plastics.

  • Transforming into a paperless organisation by June 30, 2025.

Carbon Offsetting:

  • Offsetting Carbon Omissions of all electricity used by the business each quarter in Partnership with GreenFleet. We offer approximately 9 tonnes of carbon each quarter from electricity.

  • All interstate travel and international travel is carbon offset at time of purchase.

  • Employee offset program for all employee carbon omissions to be evaluated and implemented before June 30, 2023.

  • Working with suppliers to identify, measure and reduce carbon omissions as part of overall supply chain process.

  • Providing customers with the ability to carbon offset Tint Design products purchased.

Reducing our impact on land fill

  • Ongoing education and awareness of reducing landfill across the business in all departments.

  • Developing more sustainable products that don’t include PVC or contain elements of recycled materials.

  • Working with suppliers to develop closed loop recycling program and identifying way to reuse left over materials via the circular economy.

Increased focus on sustainability

  • Tint Design is committed to continuing to partner with suppliers to speed up the development of more sustainable signage and print products that are fit for purpose and can increase the lifecycle in its use.

  • To switch to sustainable items that align with customer expectations and needs and to help educate customers on the benefits.

  • Working with Sustainable Australia Fund to increase uptake of energy efficient products via co-promotion.

Greengard Certified low VOC Printing processes:

Tint Design provides Greengard certified inks in its printed wall graphics and window graphic solutions.
